DIPHA BARUS with RAISA

Still exploring the Love and Intimacy theme on their collaboration. Dipha Barus & Raisa released two versions of one song ‘Mine’. With both lyrics conveying a similar narrative, ‘Mine (Day)’, works best when the sun is still having it’s rays pouring into your skin while talking about the best days a lover spends together. This song has a very ‘territorial’ undertone, it’s about the lovers keeping what is ‘His/Her’ and didn’t want to lose it to another person outside of the couple. In Mine (Day), there's plenty of influence from a mellowed-out version of 90’s R&B, with it’s soft and alluring melodies.

In the other version ‘Mine (Night)’, Dipha Barus infused lot’s of electronic / dance music elements, with it’s House/Disco grooves combined with Raisa’s strong vocal character, resulted in an epic danceable track but still didn’t lose the pop elements.
